APIOps Helsinki 2026 — Apiable at Finland's premier API conference
Apiable is a proud sponsor of APIOps Helsinki Conference 2026 — Finland's practitioner-driven event for API strategy, platform ownership, and AI-era integration decisions.
Our CEO Allan Knabe will be speaking alongside API leaders from OP Financial Group, ASSA ABLOY, Spinverse, and other organisations building real API programs.
When: June 2-3, 2026
Where: Epicenter Helsinki, Mikonkatu 9
Format: Two tracks — strategy talks, workshops, clinics, and guided unconference sessions
Why we're sponsoring APIOps Helsinki
APIOps Helsinki is one of the few API events that's genuinely practitioner-driven. No vendor expo. No slide decks full of buzzwords. Just people who actually build and run API programs, sharing what works and what doesn't.
That's exactly the kind of conversation Apiable was built for. We work with teams who are past the "should we have an API?" stage and deep into the "how do we make this program sustainable?" stage. APIOps Helsinki attracts the same crowd.
What Allan will be talking about
Allan's session focuses on the shift from API programs as cost centers to API programs as revenue engines. The core idea: most companies have already built the hard part (the API). What they're missing is the infrastructure to capture value from it.
Expect practical ground to cover, including:
- Why self-service partner onboarding is the unlock most teams are missing
- How usage-based pricing turns API traffic into predictable revenue
- What usage visibility actually looks like for stakeholders who aren't engineers
- Real patterns from companies that have made the shift
If you're responsible for a partner program, an API platform, or proving that your API team isn't just a cost line — this one's for you.
The conference tracks
APIOps Helsinki runs two parallel tracks across both days.
Track A — API strategy and platform ownership
Covers API strategy, product thinking, governance, compliance, organisational roles, and managing APIs across their full lifecycle. This is where platform teams and API product managers will spend most of their time.
Track B — APIs and integrations for the AI era
Focuses on how APIs enable AI agents and automation, integration patterns for AI-driven workflows, data contracts, observability, and avoiding fragile AI architectures. Relevant for anyone thinking about where APIs fit in an AI-first world.
Who should attend
The conference is designed for practitioners — not spectators. If any of these describe you, it's worth your time:
- API and integration architects designing scalable, governed API ecosystems
- Platform owners and API managers building developer portals and API product strategy
- Product and engineering leaders driving outcomes with API-first delivery
- Partner and ecosystem managers scaling partner programs without scaling the team
